On the move!

It's been an eventful past few weeks. Not only did Natalie have her first encounter with pinkeye and roseola, she is now mobile! The kid rarely sits still! She is crawling ALL over and has learned to pull up. Mogul the Cat is not too excited about these new developments. :)

Happy 4th of July

Not only did we celebrate Independence Day with a neighborhood parade, but we attended Cousin Nate's wedding. We loved spending the weekend with all of the Balk Family.

Summer Vacation

The Newton Family had a fun trip to the East Coast. We spent a weekend at Bethany Beach (Delaware) with The Robertson Family (Bruce, Kelly and Will). Then we spent some time with Grandpa Bill, Aunt Kim, Uncle Justin and cousins Ashley, Tyler and Connor. Playing in the sand at Bethany Beach with Daddy

Jeff and Bruce enjoy 'Fun in the Sun' on Fathers Day with their kiddos

2028 Olympics?

Just like her Mommy and Daddy, Natalie loved her first dip in the pool! Perhaps she'll be a future collegiate swimmer or Ironman athlete! Shoot...we're happy she justed liked splashing in the water! She starts swimming lessons in July. Dad is the lucky parent that gets to participate in the Parent-Tot Lessons.....Mom will be the crazy lady on the side of the pool with the video camera. :)

Chunky Monkey

By the looks of her cheeks, you can guess that Natalie's favorite activity is eating! She's had a sample of rice cereal and oatmeal and LOVES it. After her 6 month wellness visit next week, we are going to introduce other solids. So get ready for those cheeks to grow even more!!

Big Girl

I couldn't resist posting this picture. Natalie's new 'trick' is sitting in her pod chair and twirling her toy all by herself. She seems mesmerized by this toy. It occupies at least 2 minutes of her time! :) Other new 'trick' is rolling over from her tummy to her back. She'll be driving a car and applying for college before we know it! :)
